Status tagging

Last updated: May 2026

Track every product through your shoot pipeline with custom status tags: requested, in transit, on set, returned and more.

Status tagging is how orda keeps a real-time view of every sample, look and product in your project. Each tag represents a stage in your shoot pipeline, so you always know what is requested, what is on set and what is on its way back to the brand.

What status tags do

  • Show the live state of every product across all your projects.
  • Power the Actions inbox: overdue returns and missing samples surface automatically.
  • Filter products inside a project so your team sees only what is relevant to them.

Default tags

  • Requested: a sample has been asked for but not yet confirmed.
  • Confirmed: the brand has approved the request and shipping is being arranged.
  • In transit: the sample is on its way to your studio.
  • On set: the product has arrived and is part of the active shoot.
  • Returned: the product has been shipped back and the loan is closed.

How to apply a status

  1. 1Open a project and select one or more products.
  2. 2Click the status chip in the product row, or use the bulk action bar.
  3. 3Pick the new status. The change is saved instantly and updates the Actions inbox.
